About Chef Thierry

Chef Thierry was born and raised in the Brittany region of France, where he apprenticed and worked until 1973. He then moved to San Francisco to work as Chef for the French Consulate and later at two elegant Bay Area restaurants.

Thierry moved to Seattle in 1980 to work as Chef for DeVilles on Broadway, then Chez Marie in the Northgate area which were well reviewed by the Seattle Times, Post Intelligencer, and Seattle Weekly. He started his own catering business in February 1985. As seen when Rent-A-Chef was featured on Channel 7’s Inside Line program, Rent-A-Chef Catering will do it all for you: shopping for the finest, as much as possible, organic, freshest foods for his personalized menus, food preparation, setup, serving, and clean up.

Chef Thierry is also noted for creating marvelously delicious Kosher menus and cuisines. His meticulous preparation combined with his talent for creating wonderful food cannot be duplicated.
